The short version: two photos in, one finished video out, no timeline in between.
- What does AI VFX do?
- AI VFX turns two still photos into a short video. You pick a start frame and an end frame, choose a transition style, and the app generates every frame in between — camera movement, lighting, fire, smoke and debris included. What comes back is a finished clip you can post straight to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
- Do I need video editing experience?
- No. There is no timeline to learn and no prompt to write. Choosing two photos and one of the four effects is the entire workflow. The built-in editor is there if you want to trim, stack scenes or add music, but you can export without ever opening it.
- Which transition effects are available?
- Four. Smooth dissolves one scene into the next without a seam. Swing whips the camera through the change. Morph grows one scene organically into the other. Skew rotates cinematically between frames. The same two photos will give you four very different films.
- What kind of photos work best?
- Two shots that share a subject or a location give the model the most to work with — the same person in two outfits, one place at two times of day, a product before and after. Sharp, well-lit photos render more cleanly than dark or blurry ones.
- How long does a render take?
- About 30 seconds. You do not have to sit and watch it either — AI VFX renders in the background, sends a push notification when the clip is ready, and keeps every result in your history.
- Is AI VFX free to try?
- New accounts start with free credits, which is enough to make your first transitions and see whether the effects suit your work. After that, renders run on credit packs bought through the App Store. Credits are only spent on renders — browsing effects and re-editing a clip you already have cost nothing.
- Can I use the clips commercially?
- Yes. You keep the rights to the videos you render, provided you had the right to use the photos you uploaded in the first place. The Terms page has the full detail.
- Is there an Android version?
